Digital Dermatoscopy
Digital dermoscopy improves the ability to detect skin cancers, particularly melanoma, at an early stage.
Magnification and cross polarisation of light allows structures beneath the skin surface to be visualised and analysed, minimising the number of unnecessary surgical removals. Images can be taken and are stored for comparison in the future.
